UEFA Learning & Development Network
The UEFA Learning & Development Network connects L&D professionals and education managers from UEFA’s 55 member associations. It serves as a community platform for sharing best practices and exchanging ideas about ongoing education and training in European football.
With the development of the UEFA Academy, UEFA sought to establish a privileged connection with HR and L&D specialists from its member associations. This initiative aims to reinforce that connection by providing them with tailored information about the Academy’s expanding activities and a platform for sharing knowledge and experience. The network welcomes those working on staff training and education in European football associations to benefit from meaningful exchanges on various professional development topics and insights from keynote speakers on their specific areas of expertise. Members can also present the capacity-building and people-development initiatives implemented in their own organisations, which is an opportunity to receive constructive feedback from the community while inspiring others to try similar initiatives adapted to their unique social and national football contexts.
Themes discussed at the network’s meetings include how to develop training programmes and measure their impact, employee performance and well-being, human motivation, organisational culture, gender equity, cultural diversity and many more.
