UEFA Academy Alumni Association (AAA)

The UEFA Academy Alumni Association is an independent, actively engaged and forward-looking community of over 3'000 graduates from UEFA Academy programmes worldwide. The AAA aims to create post study value for all UEFA Academy Alumni, in addition to fostering a thriving association composed of sport industry professionals working across football clubs, leagues, associations and other relevant stakeholders. It is not a department or division of UEFA or UEFA Academy.

Scope and objectives

The UEFA AAA represents the interests of an international community of alumni who have successfully completed UEFA Academy programmes. At its core, AAA membership represents a lifelong association with the UEFA Academy, connection to our thriving alumni community and access to an unmatched network across the world of football.

AAA Board

The Board is composed of seven members, each of them responsible for a different area of the alumni community:

Together – UEFA Academy Summit

Named ” Together,” this event takes place every two years in one of our 55 national associations, offering a unique opportunity to reunite with friends from your time at the Academy while also networking with graduates from other programmes.

With over 20 programmes and more than 3,500 graduates in the industry, the UEFA Academy offers an unrivaled networking platform for sports professionals.

However, the summit isn’t just a networking event; it’s also an academic opportunity to learn and further your experience at the Academy. During two full days, we will engage in debates, participate in interactive workshops, and hear from leading experts on specific topics related to the sports industry.

The 2023 edition, hosted in Bucharest, was a great success, with around 300 alumni. We embarked on a fascinating journey under the theme “From Virtual to Reality,” delving into technologies that, just a few years ago, seemed quite far-fetched but are already beginning to reshape our world.
